At 9:00 am on December 24, 2022, School of Politics and International Relations of Lanzhou University held an online experience sharing meeting for outstanding students. Zhang Weiheng and Chen Zimo, outstanding student representatives of our college, were invited to share their experiences. The meeting was presided over by the person in charge of the scientific research Practice Department, and some undergraduates of the college participated in the meeting.

The first person to share is Zhang Weiheng, an outstanding student representative who has won the National Encouragement Scholarship. His experience sharing focuses on the relevant content of the National encouragement scholarship application. Zhang Weiheng explained the definition and application conditions of the National Encouragement Scholarship, introduced the process of applying for the National Encouragement Scholarship in detail, and shared his preparation in the application process. At the end of the sharing, he told everyone from the perspective of the balance between study and student work that participating in student work is conducive to improving our learning efficiency to a certain extent, and also conducive to the improvement of academic performance.

The next person to share is Chen Zimo, an excellent student representative who has won national scholarship. She shared the theme of college survival guide, and summed up her learning and life experience from her five first presentations in Lanzhou University. First of all, she told everyone from her first interview experience that they should not be discouraged, but should go to the mountain and sea with enthusiasm. Then, taking her first debate as an example, Chen Zimo stressed that everyone should have the courage to face unknown things from different angles. After that, she drew the conclusion that only when she had the courage to take the first step can there be little progress after the analysis of her first time to participate in Model United Nations. Then, she shared her first event planning experience, revealing the hardships of the event planning process, and hoped that everyone could be more tolerant and understanding to the students who participated in the event planning. Finally, Chen Zimo introduced the process of her first English speech, encouraging everyone to express themselves bravely and face challenges with confidence. In the conclusion, Chen Zimo told everyone to be humble and expected everyone to be able to do "but do good things, don't ask about the future" in college life.

With the theme of sharing the experience of outstanding students, the sharing session was full of rich content, both full of dry learning experience and true feelings of life, so that everyone understood that only by embracing learning with enthusiasm and continuously enriching life, can we harvest different happiness and wonderful college life.
