From September 16 to 18, the 2022 Annual Conference and Symposium of the China World War II History Research Association, co-organized by the Institute of World History of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the Department of History of East China Normal University, and the Institute of Socialist History and Literature, was successfully held.

Wang Jinguo, professor of our college and Vice president of the Chinese Society of the History of the Second World War, attended the meeting. Liu Jian, Researcher from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Professor Lin Limin, President of the Chinese Society for the History of the Second World War, and Professor Liang Zhi from East China Normal University delivered speeches respectively.

Professor Wang Jinguo presided over the opening ceremony of the meeting, and made an academic speech entitled "Russia and Germany on the digitization project of Russian, Tibetan and German documents". More than 100 experts and scholars from dozens of universities and research institutions, including Wuhan University, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, National Defense University, Institute of International Relations, East China Normal University and Capital Normal University, gathered in the cloud to have a warm and fruitful discussion on the history of the Second World War.
