On May 24, 2022, the defense review of the 2022 Master's degree thesis of our College will be carried out in an orderly manner combining online and offline. The offline thesis defense will be held in Conference rooms 602 and 604, Student Activity Center, Chengguan Campus, and the online defense will be held in Tencent conference mode. Prof. Wang Zongli and Prof. Cao Yabin of the School of Marxism of Northwest Normal University serve as the chairmen of the dissertation defense committee, Prof. Wang Jinguo, Prof. Zeng Xianghong, Prof. Jiao Yiqiang, Prof. Wang Sihai, Associate Professor Zhou Changxian, Associate Professor Ma Guolin, Associate Professor Wei Jinshen, Associate Professor Yang Chenbo serve as the members of the defense committee, and Prof. Zhang Weiwei and Prof. Ning Yu serve as the defense secretary.

The defense was divided into two groups at the same time, and a total of 27 postgraduate students participated in the defense. The teachers of the defense committee carefully listened to the students' thesis reports, and then made careful comments and valuable guidance, pointing out the problems existing in the graduates' theses. The students who participated in the defense carefully listened to the guidance of the teachers and made detailed answers to the questions raised by the teachers.

After the conclusion of the defense, Professor Cao Yabin and Professor Wang Sihai made a summary speech respectively. They pointed out that most of the papers participating in the graduation thesis defense have met the basic requirements of graduate students' graduation papers, but each paper needs to be further modified and improved. The teachers of the defense committee urge the students who participate in the defense to revise the thesis carefully and improve the dissertation according to the opinions of the teachers and in a responsible attitude towards themselves, their tutors and the subject. After deliberation by the defense committee, the graduates passed the defense.

Finally, the defense committee expressed sincere congratulations to the students who passed the defense, and the teachers and students took a group photo together.
