On October 29, the 3rd online academic conference of the "Cui Ying Cup" Graduate Forum on Eurasian Studies, sponsored by the School of Politics and International Relations of Lanzhou University and the Institute of Central Asian Studies of Lanzhou University, and hosted by the editorial Department of Central Asian Studies, was successfully held. More than 50 doctoral and master students from Moscow University, University of Macau, China Foreign Affairs University, University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Nanjing University, Jilin University, Central China Normal University, Lanzhou University and other more than 20 domestic and foreign universities and research institutions participated in the online academic conference.
At the beginning of the opening ceremony, Professor Chen Xiaoding, Deputy Dean of the School of Politics and International Relations of Lanzhou University and director of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Research Center of Lanzhou University, delivered a speech on the third "Cui-Ying Cup" Graduate Forum on Eurasian Studies. He thought that the winning essay selection of the forum was innovative and covered a wide range of topics, which highlighted the high enthusiasm of the students for academic research. He expressed his warm welcome and sincere thanks to the students who actively participated in the forum. After the opening ceremony, the forum entered the thematic discussion session, which was divided into two sub-forums, "Russian-Ukrainian conflict and Eurasian Order" and "Central Asian Studies and International Relations".
